"Wisdom is fully expressing one's madness"

True to her principles since childhood, Rose-Mary Vallas draws her inspiration from her environment, her surroundings and her intimacy. Never letting herself be influenced and always innovating are her watchwords.

A multi-faceted artist and design impressionist, she is a builder of the imagination. Through design, painting, sculpture, writing, music and ecstasy, she feels alive and constantly evolving.

An unstructured soul with a complex mind, Rose-Mary Vallas never defines herself as an accomplished artist. She is a designer and creator of living spaces.

His influences do not appear in magazines or catalogs.

She frees herself from fashion and trends for fear of limiting and compartmentalizing her imagination.

Rose-Mary Vallas was born on April 27, 1975 in the town of Thiais, in the Val-de-Marne département of France. Born into a family of artists and surrounded by her parents, she soon realized that her personal development did not fit in with the traditional school system. Inspired by the world around her, from an early age she spent most of her time creating, playing with shapes and materials, driven by an already fertile imagination.

A difficult adolescence led her to work quickly and follow in her father's footsteps. During her happy years in the capital, from Saint-Germain to the Butte Montmartre, she divided her time between her work and her son. As usual, she shows great determination when she walks through the doors of the prestigious Pierre-Boulle School of Applied Arts in Paris. She is her own project.

"To want is to be able," my father always said, quoting Rose-Mary Vallas.

Her career as a designer, combined with painting, began in the 2000s in Paris, before quickly taking her to the south of France. Driven by her love for her son, she chose to invite the sun into her life and settled in Toulouse. Then known as Rose-Mary Lemaitre, she wished to honor her mother's name and opted for Rose-Mary Vallas. Illness and the death of her parents were trials she overcame, and her emotion became her style.

At the age of 33, wearing high heels, she pursued her career as a professional designer in Toulouse, while officially registering as a professional painter. It was not far the Place du Capitole that her first creations were born in the South of France. She works on large-scale projects. Rose-Mary Vallas is an explosion of sensations and perceptions of life.

"Wisdom is the full expression of folly," she says.

Above all, it's her art, her history and her encounters that shape Rose-Mary Vallas' career. Unclassifiable, she refuses to belong to a restricted world of creativity. Gifted in art and design, she knows how to exploit them in all their forms. Above all, she's where you least expect her.

For her, painting, writing and sculpture are the means of expression to which she devotes her evenings. Her painting and sculpture express emotion and life. Her writing, meanwhile, gives free rein to her imagination: whether novels, children's stories or simple short stories, she expresses herself without restraint.

Rose-Mary Vallas' artistic style is inimitable. It reflects life, emotions, travel, love and sadness. Her work is inspired by her thoughts and imagination. She takes the time to reflect on every element of her creations and always strives to make them as perfect as possible. Finally, her aim is to tell the story of life through her paintings. She hopes to convey dreams, imagination, sometimes pain, and a belief in her aspirations. She wants her works to express her deepest, most intimate emotions.

Since the start of her career, Rose Mary Vallas has won several prestigious awards and distinctions. Her work has been widely recognized and she has been invited to special events and international festivals.

One of these works can be seen in the Capelouzos family museum in Athens.
